Find My Age

The “Find My Age” application built in Kodular is a straightforward utility designed to calculate a person’s exact age automatically based on their birthdate. It serves as an ideal project for beginners learning non-coding Android development through visual block programming.

In practice, the application operates by taking the user’s birthdate via a calendar input, fetching the current device date from the system, and computing the precise difference between the two timelines. This process relies on key visual and functional components set up within the platform’s designer screen. Users interact with a DatePicker component to select their birth date, which then triggers an internal Clock component. This hidden sensor retrieves the present day’s data and passes both timestamps into the programming blocks.
