Video Kultum

Belief in the Last Day (Iman kepada Hari Akhir) is the fifth pillar of faith in Islam, representing a Muslim’s absolute and unshakable conviction that the physical universe will reach an absolute end and that all humankind will be resurrected for divine judgment.

Linguistically, “Iman” means to trust or firmly affirm with the heart, while “Hari Akhir” refers to the final day of this world after which no other worldly days follow. In Islamic terminology, it means believing that Allah will completely destroy the cosmos and subsequently restore physical life to all creation. Every individual who ever lived will rise from their grave to stand before their Creator, where their hidden and public actions will be meticulously weighed on the divine scales of justice.
